Tandem Workshop on Automotive Topics

From May 19th to May 22nd we hosted an automotive workshop at RCS, co-located with the annual project meeting of the IGSTC project AUTOSAFE.

Together with research partners from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Tata Research Development and Design Center, Inchron GmbH, TUM CREATE and the Institute for Hybrid Control Systems (HCS), we met in a series of talks and inspiring discussions related to emerging technologies in the automotive domain.

Amongst others, the topics included

  • reconfigurable computing,
  • timing analysis,
  • software and system verification,
  • system optimization and
  • battery management.

The AUTOSAFE project started in 2012 with the goal of developing integrated methods and tools for a full functional verification of safety-critical automotive software, to help cutting down integration, testing and debugging costs in future automotive systems.
