Advanced Seminar on "Performance vs. Security in Cyber-Physical Systems"
The theme for the advanced seminar in the Master program in winter term 2018/2019 is "Performance vs. Security in Cyber-Physical Systems". We investigate emerging challenges and tradeoffs between these two aspects in embedded systems. The offered topics include computational speed vs. attack potential (e.g., Meltdown, Spectre and their workarounds), and privacy concerns in smart energy storage home appliances (e.g., information disclosure through power line activity).
We have six places to offer. Details on the topics and registration information can be found on our module website.
